Personal
Pray for:

God's Spirit to move and stir a passion for the Lost
That I may see and meet the need of the people in the various places
I will be a blessing unto others
Stay focus and always guard myself against any spiritual attacks
Constently walk closely with God and depend on him for strength

Team
Prayer for:

Every member to work closely together
Thank God that we are working closely and having lots of fun together
During the trip, there would be no disbutes and mis-communications
The team leaders would make wise decisions and leadership roles
Good health for members

Ministry
Pray for:

The people whom we are ministrying to that they would be blessed
Softening the hearts of those who yet to come to know our Lord Jesus Christ
That the Christian volunteers would learn a new skill in our training lessons
Translation would be fluent and accurate when we share testimonies or give instruction
The camp that we are to attend during their holiday, that all the programmes that we planned would go out smoothly
All the logistics would be done before the trip

Hi all, I'm writing this 5 minutes i need to leave my house..
Phew.. Been a really hetic week! Finally we're going!
In few short sentences, my personal objectives:
Is to trust God in my weaknesses to reach the lost!
Is to focus on God and not on self
Is allow God to put His love in me for them

Pray for:
My family who will be shifting house while I'm away, please pray that God will give them grace and strength
Team unity and good communal living and love for one another
We will be surrendered before Him for His use

My verse I'm claiming is (opps.. I got no time to check the Bible, but it's about how God is faithful even when we are not, for He cannot deny Himself!) I choose it because it reminds me that it's all about Him!

Sentosa News:

There have been very bad protestings because of the rows over the printing of textbooks about the warring histories of Japan. There is anger and unhappiness. Pray that the turmoil will stop and for the Chinese, Koreans and Japanese.

Recently, they had a grand ceremony commemorating 'their ancestors'. I don't know if it's going to have anything to stir the spiritual commotion. Please pray.

Youths are addicted to computer games, especially Internet cafes.
Pray for release from addiction and gospel to reach them.

Dear Sentosa-ians!
I've finally catch on to the bloggers' world!!! So glad to be able to leave my "mark" here! I hope you guys are doing fine! Just came back from HQ, and the exact amount submitted to them is $8920, and that's 58.9% of what we need to raise as a team. Though it seems like there's only a short time left, continue to try your best, and trust God to provide! Do any of you faced problems or difficulties raising your support? And I'm not just saying about whether we can raise or not, but the emotional struggle that you might face. I do. In fact, I always do. Sigh... I still remember the first time I raised support for my Thailand mission trip last year.

It's a really tedious and difficult time for me, especially when you see almost all your other team mates have almost full amount. I kept asking God why is it that the funds are not coming, and I couldn't help comparing. But at the end, the funds suddenly poured in till it overflowed for me! God showed me through the woman with the blood issue (Mark 5:21-43), she was a woman of extrodinary faith, and I believed her faith helped to encouraged Jarius to trust the Lord. I realised that though I say I will trust God to provide, at the back of my mind I was thinking of how I can get at least $1000 to pay out of my own pocket! One of my objectives for that trip was to take faith steps for Him. But how can I say I want my faith to grow through this mission trip when I don't put my trust in Him? At the end, I settled in my heart to really believed that He will provide, at not giving up.

I hope this will encourage you, no matter how hard you've tried your best to raise, don't give up seeking God! Because I believed that God can easily provide for us if support-raising is the only issue, but very often He very much rather doing a work to change us, even if it means Him holding back for some time! Let's continue to not just trusting Him to provide for you, but even more so, to seek God and His will for you in this trip!

I can't go

Yeah.. my supervisor said I can't go. Reason being, my Industrial Attachment Program (IAP) is the same as my Final Yeah Project (FYP). BOTH of them are happening together.. (con-currently.. shesh, can't remember how to spell)

So, taking one month off during this really critical time, they might not even allow me at all. Even though it's only during the first month of my whole 5 months.

The weightage of this IAP is almost half of my whole 3 years in NP. So, can imagine.. 50% of my 3 years is during this 5 months. Marks, super high, everything brought up so that we can excel more in our IAP and FYP, AND we don't need to be so stressed doing seperate FYP.

Well, that's my reason why I can't go. I did try the second time. My supervisor strongly encourage for me not to go for EA. Mainly one reason he wants me to score well for my IAP since I chose Campus Crusade and other reasons why too.

Well, I'll still be part of the team, be there for meetings, training and even check-out. Hehe.. Oh, don't worry, I'm alright now. The 'shock period' is over for me. I'm now waiting for God to tell/show me why I can't go to EA. My best friend shared his testimony to me why he couldn't go for his cell's mission trip was that God wanted him to do some things in Singapore.. Equally important things. Well, I do hope that I'll still be a blessing in Singapore since I can't go to EA.

Well, one good reason why a Blog has been setup is because, all your supporters can come and view this blog to read and find out team's prayer request and pray for all of us. Yeah! That's the power of the blog.

I think by now, most of you should know that I can't join the team to 'Sentosa'. But I'll try again to talk to my tutor and see if I can go. That means.. it's gonna be my second time talking to him, praying that I would be able to go.

Well, I'm not very discouraged lar. Hehe. Actually, I'm confuse and lost and eager to know why God wants me to stay when I've already put in so much effort for the team. Well, I'll still meet up with Esther to plan the programs and all, she alone can't do it. But when she is there, she can push you all to finish things done soon.

If really I can't go, I'll be the middle person to tell all your supporters to pray for you. Of course, I'll update the blog so others can read. Really, please tell all your supports to come to this blog. It's very important if they want to find out all the latest prayer request.
